Meet Mari

I’m Mari and I am a nutritionist and female health expert.

When I ran my successful personal training business it soon became evident that you can’t always out exercise a bad diet, in fact, most of my clients who lost weight did not so much due to the exercise but by fixing their diets.

Enlightenment
So, realising that although exercise is, of course vital, it should be combined with sensible and effective nutritional advice to help claim back overall optimal health.
During my studies for a diploma on nutrition (Dip CNM) I started to struggle more and more with my own health. At first I thought it was a subconscious response due to all the pathology and diseases we were studying!!
I never once thought that I might be peri-menopausal.
I was always healthy, fit and in good shape so why was I now struggling with low energy, mood swings, low libido, gaining weight and brain fog?
Most of us are taught that the menopause is just part of life and that you should get on with it – grin and bear it. It was through my studies that I learned that one does not have to suffer, that it’s not ok to live each day feeling sub optimal.
Once I recognised what was going on and that I am well into peri-menopause I had all the tools to take back my vitality and I can say that I now feel better than I did in my 30’s.
Now, I want to pass on to you what I have learnt.
